2. I am grateful for my first-born, Benjamin and his good, kind heart. I love how he loves his brother and sisters (well, he loves them MOST of the time). As first-born, he's become the product of a nervous mother (as all first-borns are), yet he is growing in grace and wisdom. He makes me so proud!

I had to giggle about the nervous mother part. It's SO true. It's amazing that any first born overcomes the nervous mommy syndrome!!! LOL. I remember hovering over Peanut when she was born, I spent countless nights just watching her breathe...I was SO sure she would stop at ANY MOMENT. Ha! It's no wonder she had "colic" I think I made her crazy with my hovering, even as an infant!
